Vincent Rodriguez

Vince Rodriguez is a devoted public servant, dedicating over 29 years to the professional fire service. From a young age, he harbored a dream of becoming a firefighter, and in August 1994, he turned that dream into reality by joining the Houston Fire Department. Over his 25-year career with HFD, Vince demonstrated exceptional courage, earning multiple Medals of Valor in 1995 and 1999 for putting himself at extreme personal risk to save lives and property.

In 2019, after a distinguished career with HFD, Vince retired but didn't let his passion wane. Wanting to continue serving his community, Vince, with the support of his wife Debbie and their children Ethan, Ashton, and Alexa, joined the Atascocita Fire Department in 2011. Within the ranks of AFD, Vince again climbed the ladder of success, achieving the positions of Lieutenant in 2013, Captain in 2015, and Battalion Chief in 2019. Vince's commitment and bravery were again recognized when he became the inaugural recipient of the Medal of Valor from the Atascocita Fire Department in 2015.

Apart from his exemplary service, Vince is committed to continuous learning. He holds an Associate of Fire Science from Houston Community College and is presently pursuing a degree in Emergency Management, with an anticipated completion date in the Fall of 2024. Vince is a highly certified professional, holding designations such as Master Firefighter since 2007, Master Fire Investigator, Instructor 2, Fire Officer 3, and many others. His dedication to public safety and education, combined with his numerous accolades, make Vince Rodriguez a true leader and inspiration within the firefighting community.
