Brian Mulligan

Hailing from Kingwood, Texas, Brian Mulligan is a seasoned firefighter with 17 years of experience, starting as a volunteer with the Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department at the age of 16 and currently serving as a career captain with the Cypress Creek Fire Department and the Little York Fire Department.  To date, Brian holds and impressive array of certifications, including:

Advanced Firefighter, Hazmat Technician, Fire Officer 4, Driver Operator-Pumper, Driver Operator-Aerial, Instructor 2, Incident Safety Officer, Incident Commander, Basic Wildland Firefighter, Fire and Life Safety Educator, TXDSHS EMT-B, EMS Instructor, Blue Card Incident Commander, Blue Card Hazmat Incident Commander, Blue Card Instructor, Swift Water Technician, and TFCA Certified Fire Executive.

Beyond the fire service, Brian is an Eagle Scout and actively volunteers with the safety committee at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Married for 11 years to his High School sweetheart, he is also a proud father to a beautiful daughter. In his downtime, Brian enjoys video games and has visited Disney World 15 times since 2017, creating cherished family memories.  His multifaceted contributions, both professionally and personally, showcase a dedicated individual making a lasting impact in the firefighting community and beyond.
